Let's dive in.
Setting up your Growth Terminal Account
After completing onboarding, we use AI to help you set up your account. We guide you through a quick process to learn who you are and what your goals are.

Here’s what happens next:
We scrape your website to understand your brand.
We analyze your last 100 posts to learn your style and what performs best.
Our AI reviews your bookmarks to understand what type of content you like.
This gives us the context we need to personalize everything for you.
Setting Your Account Context
Every piece of content is 1 of 1 geared towards you. Brand ID.
Context is key. We scrape your last 100 posts to learn about your posting style and performance. What works what doesn't. We also extrapolate who your target market is, what your brand pillars are, what your content style is. However, think of all of this like a version one. You know your business better than anyone. Add as much information as you can here. This will help us create even better content for you.
Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe. - Abraham Lincoln
That’s how you should think about context — the more you give us, the sharper your content becomes.
What Are Brand Pillars?
Your brand pillars are the key topics you talk about. Every creator with great content knows the top 10 themes they post about consistently. This helps us understand what to focus on for you.
Effective brand pillars contain your:
Core values - what your brand fundamentally believe in
Unique attributes - what makes you different from competitors
Brand promise - the value you consistently deliver
Personality traits - how your brand communicates and behaves
This helps us train the foundational structure of how we think about your brand.
Your target audience is key
We see a lot of accounts. One of the biggest issues we see with how people approach content is they think about what they want to post first, then think about their audience second.

If you have multiple target audiences that is fine, put as much information as you can about your audience. This helps us distill different archetypes to market to.
When you are hyper-specific about who you are trying to reach, it helps us create content catered directly for that industry. This allows us to come up with better ideas, write more relevant styles, and cater towards a hyper-specific strategy that is 1 of 1 to you.
Creating your Brand Voice
Your brand voice is how we post in your style. It guides how your content sounds, feels, and connects with your audience. Some people have a very well defined brand voice. I'm short and brash. I use humor, or I don't. However, many people when getting started out actually want to borrow writing styles from their favorite writers.

We allow you to add up to 5 people that you love. The content style that you like. And you can even add 5 tweets that they've done that you love. This will help give a great surface area for us to train on.
Also add any context of what you want.
Let's create some content
The key to creating a movement, is to have something to say. Our tool helps you write content that is original to you, without having to invest hours into creating it. And it's not "AI slop." AI slop is random ChatGPT and Claude writing generally about you. We are actively not only analyzing you, but the timeline that day. That gives us the most possible context around the timeline. Not based off of old blog articles that ChatGPT listed. If you want our dedicate guide to content creation, click here.

Your Ideas Tab
You will never have writers block again. Every day, we write you original ideas catered specifically to you based on what's trending that day. We scrape the timeline for trending content, cross-check it against your brand pillars, and apply your brand voice. All of this happens quietly in the background.

That’s why our posts never feels like “generic ai slop.” Each post is a hyper-personalized fingerprint — built for your audience and what’s happening right now.
If you have an idea for a topic you can also feed it into our "source new ideas" button. It will create several posts on this subject for you that you can pick from. Each post is geared towards your business goals whether it's sales, impressions, or establishing brand authority.
You can flag posts you like and feed that back into the editor for even smarter suggestions.
Your Drafts Page
After you interact with a piece of content, it is automatically moved into your drafts page. Your drafts page is like 1 step up from your ideas page. They are ideas you either like or things you've personally edited.
You can easily remove drafts from this page just by clicking the delete icon that occurs on hover. Or if you click on the post it will open up our editor.
https://x.com/qgmeta/status/1980784518832509054

I used to keep a full drafts page filled with gems that "one day" I will post. Now I have a different philosophy. Just post it.
It's better to have a flop in your feed then a good idea gathering dust. We always encourage users to post only things they're comfortable with, but the easiest way to get more comfortable with posting is by… posting! Don't be afraid to hit publish ;)
Your Posted Tab
Under the posted tab, you can see all of your content that has gone out. We also link directly to that post in your feed. You can see it across both X and LinkedIn. This is the easiest view to see if you're posting consistently.
We only pull in posts that you published directly through Growth Terminal. When you post natively through your feed we won't add that to your posted tab. We do track the analytics on all your posts, but it just won't appear here.

Indicators of successful and unsuccessful posts will both be present here. If a post did fail on post, you will have the ability to repost it from here. We also have the state of 'partially' published where it can post directly on one platform but not others.
Using The Editor
Our editor feels like Cursor for content. Where we connect an AI chat and direct editing. This approach is supposed to get the benefits of how it would be to edit in a platform like ChatGPT but also maintains the native writing experience, while trying to maintain the closest thing we can to a true preview of your content.
You can simply accept the change by clicking the green accept button or apply all on the bottom.

It suggests changes you can accept or reject in real-time.
You can reference materials, add visuals, or tell it to include stats, quotes, or insights.
We designed it to feel like you’re collaborating with a 200-IQ co-writer. The goal is freedom — you control the final voice, but the AI does the heavy lifting.
Our editor is making your experience super simple.
The key things you need to know on how it works.

Don't worry, just undo
If you want to undo a change or redo a change, you can easily do it with the arrows on top.

We automatically save your work frequently, so if you close out it won't be lost. But if you do a big change that was an oopsie you can easily revert that change.
Preview your post
You can preview what your post will look like natively both on X and LinkedIn.
By clicking preview you will be able to select between the platforms. This can help you see how your content really looks in the feed. We do our best to recreate it for you. This is especially helpful with character cut offs.

Auto-Sync with LinkedIn
You can sync the post across X and LinkedIn. If this is toggled on, the edits will be universal across the two channels. If you disable this then the changes will happen independently of each other.

LinkedIn often has a different posting cadence than a tweet. Some users that disable auto-syncing will make the LinkedIn post longer, or experiment with different hooks based on their audience.
Often people will just post the same content.
I recommend experimenting and seeing what works with your unique audience.
Looking for inspiration on good LinkedIn posts? Andros one of the co-founders got 500,000 impressions with this gem. Just a simple video and text prompt.
Leaving comments on Drafts
Commenting is a team feature for Growth Terminal. If I am running a brand account with someone (for example my co-founder Andros) I can easily leave comments that we can both see on a potential post. Your teammate can address any comments or resolve them. This makes it easier to run a branded account without having to take conversations on Slack, or worse… have to "hop on a call."

You can easily comment by just highlighting any part of a post, whether that's one word, a sentence, or the entire thing. Our goal with comments is to make it easier to write async with a team. However, many of our users also use it just for notes to themselves. Highlight a section and say "Should I revisit this hook". This helps keep all of your thoughts in one place so when you come back to a draft it's dead simple what needs to be done.
Navigate back into the AI chat by clicking the "Back to Chat" button.
Content evaluator
Sometimes it's a good idea to get another pair of eyes on a piece of content before posting it. Our content evaluator looks through the lens of high-performing criteria and tells you what is working, and what needs help.
If you ever feel stuck on a piece, this is a great exercise to keep the juices flowing and to ensure you optimize every word in your post.

After evaluating, you can easily select which improvements you want to make and it will present them as optional changes which you can apply or deny, the same way our AI editor will typically suggest edits.
Scheduling Content
No one wants an empty content calendar. Scheduling content can not only make your life easier, but one good hour of work can keep your entire content calendar full. Our best users don’t start their week wondering what to post. They already have evergreen content, guides, and insights scheduled weeks ahead.

This frees them up to focus on what’s trending that day, layering spontaneous posts on top of their planned content.
You can schedule to both X and LinkedIn directly. If you’re someone who’s “afraid to post,” this is the perfect set-it-and-forget-it system. We constantly improve our scheduling to find smarter times for you to post.
Publishing directly
You can also publish directly from our platform (when you've connected your account.) We can publish to both X and LinkedIn at the same time.

If you want your post to be a quote tweet, we have a simple box that you can add that post into. This will put it as a quote tweet only for X but won't affect your LinkedIn posting.
Post to multiple communities
We have a very neat feature that hacks your posts impressions. You can post to communities on X directly from our dashboard. Not just a single one, but multiple. Each post will have its own engagement and analytics data. You can also post to both communities and natively to your feed.

Post using our API or do a manual post
We have the option to post through our API or to do a post manually. There is discourse around if you post through APIs your reach can be limited vs. natively in the app. Through folklore we've seen posts do well with each, and it's not 100% necessary. Some of our users prefer to post it directly, but use this option so we track that you posted it.
If you post "Publish now" on the modal it will be posted immediately and viewable in your posted dashboard.
Content New

You can start from a blank draft, or you can give a starting premise for our content creation. If you have a general insight, but don't want to do the work of researching, writing, and organizing it, then just plop whatever you're thinking of here and we'll do all the heavy lifting.
You can also choose to have variations. This will do 3 options for you to choose from and once you pick your favorite you will be plopped directly into our editor.
Magic Links
Magic Links can read transcripts from YouTube videos, podcasts, and more — turning them into post-ready material.

Example:
Upload a video and say, “Write a summary thread about building a personal brand based on this video.”
Our AI pulls the key insights automatically.
It’s perfect for repurposing long-form content or extracting inspiration fast.
Adding Images
A great post with a great image performs 10x better. That’s why we integrated Google’s Nano Banana tool — so you can easily customize photos, search memes, add text, or overlay captions.
You can generate an image with a prompt. Anything from how you would post in Mid Journey to how you would edit.

You can also bring in a reference image and edit that image with text, changing actors, or making any tweak your imagination can come up with.
Utilize memes
We have a meme searching function where you can look up any trending meme. We then pull up a ton of image options for you. You can select it, then prompt what meme you want to edit.
Our goal is to stop you from having to jump into Photoshop or scratch your head about what image you want to use.
An addition of an image is the simplest way to increase engagement.
Especially a well timed meme.
Unlocking Analytics
Our analytics have one goal: make your data actually useful. Typical dashboards just show numbers. We use AI to pull you actual insights.

We analyze your performance to:
Identify your top-performing posts and formats
Optimize posting times
Surface your top fans and follower base
Suggest what to double down on next
Think of it like having a team of data scientists monitoring your content 24/7.
They’re working behind the scenes to refine your strategy continuously.
If you want deeper performance insights, head to the Analytics tab for detailed breakdowns of reach, engagement, and conversion metrics.
Knowledge Tab
Your Knowledge tab shows you what’s happening across your industry. Think of this like your personal researcher who is scouring the timeline to find you the most relevant topics.
You’ll see the latest topics, frameworks, and discussions so you can remix or reformat them for your brand.
Tweets
We surface relevant posts that are happening in your industry. Outside of smart replies, these are more informative for your niche and potential styles and formats that likely could do well for you.

On each post you will see "Use as a template" button which is a simple way to take that tweet directly into our editor. That allows you to either use the same structure of the post, or to remix the content of the post.
Bookmarks
The oldest adage for Twitter has historically been, how can I make my bookmarks useful?
With Growth Terminal, now you can. We look at all your bookmarks. We decide which ones are relevant, did you bookmark this because it's useful and adjacent to your topic, did you like the writing style, or is it just a funny meme. We intentionally distill your bookmarks and use it to help inform your content and style.
If it's completely irrelevant then we ignore it ;)
We also pull in your bookmarks — your saved posts give us more insight into your taste and niche.
If something you bookmark isn’t relevant, don’t worry — our system knows to ignore it.
So you can continue bookmarking, and know that each time you do it's helping inform us to help make better content for you.
Trends Tab

The Trends tab gives you a real-time view of what’s hot in your industry.
We gather meta conversations, identify patterns, and summarize what the top voices are saying.

This helps you:
Stay on top of cutting-edge ideas
Identify the “next big thing” before others do
Craft timely content that positions you as a thought leader
Check this tab 1–2 times a week to stay sharp. When something catches your eye, post it right away — trend-driven posts lose value the longer you wait.
Smart Replies
Smart Replies generate high-quality, on-brand responses for both X and LinkedIn. They’re one of the most underrated growth tactics (especially early on.)
Smart Replies is on our Pro plan.
Our users utilize this feature by sending 50+ replies to increase their exposure, impressions, followers, and create deeper connections with the "important nodes" in their industry.
Personally at Growth Terminal we utilize this feature to get new customers when people are talking about content creation on X and LinkedIn. Here's how the feature works:

Under the reply opportunities tab, we surface content based on your preferences. When clicking custom reply style on the top you can specify what sort of content you want in your feed. Then you can specify if you want opportunities across X and LinkedIn or just one individually.
You can:
Pick topics to follow
Surface the most relevant conversations
Use your brand voice for personalized replies
For LinkedIn, we don’t auto-post (since they limit automation). Instead, we copy your reply to your clipboard and open the post, so you can publish it manually.

Under the sources tab you can do a deeper level of specification.
You can specify:
Specific users
Lists
Communities
Or Keywords
This gives you full control to get only fed hyper-relevant content. Some people even use this feature to scroll through X instead of using the app.

It’s also a killer feature for sales prospecting — quick, authentic, and high-converting.
For LinkedIn we don't post directly, instead it opens up. It copies your message directly into your clipboard, then from there you can post. It will redirect you to the LinkedIn post, then you can post the message in there then hit post and close the window. We do this because LinkedIn doesn't want you to post replies via an API.

You can also look at your reply history so you can analyze all of your specific messages sent. If you want deeper analytics around your reply success, there is more information on your analytics tab.
If you want to learn even more about smart replies, click here.
Sending DMs
One good cold DM can change your life. Now imagine sending 50 a day on autopilot.
Sending DMs is on our Hyper Growth plan
Our DM tool is one the most advanced in the industry. You can scrape followers, create custom sequences, and our AI adapts tone automatically based on prior messages. If you aren't sending DMs everyday then you're missing out. Or if you are manually, this will save you 1+ hours every day. If you want a dedicated guide on sending DMs, click here.

If you want to grow your newsletter list, I recommend doing DMs to your followers.
"Hey, thanks for following me, I have a free newsletter that you should totally check out <link to newsletter here>."
If you're targeting customers, a good strategy is to take people who commented on a relevant thread. All you have to do is insert the link to the post, then create a custom message like "Hey, I saw you comment on the post about AI writing. I built a tool that helps write content for X and LinkedIn you should check it out!"
This is for a less intense long term strategy.
DMs send quietly in the background using your cookie access so they go out gradually, human-like, not spammy. We will send them out every couple of minutes or at different random variables. That means all you have to do is sit back and relax.
If you're reaching out to 10,000 people that can take 200 days (10,000/50=200). We recommend if you do a campaign like that to be hyper-targeted on who you are reaching out to.

We recommend using DMs for:
Prospecting
Driving newsletter signups
Re-engaging your followers
This is a flagship feature for our Hyper-Growth users.
To configure your campaign, you just write a simple message. For DMs we typically recommend 1-3 sentences, if it's too long people typically don't read through. You can exclude people you've DMed before (this prevents double messaging or messaging someone you're already in contact with.)
We also have AI follow-up which will look at the context of your previous messages before responding. For example if you left them on read, it can send "Hey sorry I didn't see your last message I've been super busy!" Then it gets into your sale.
For slight AI variation we do slight message variation. Instead of hey say howdy, etc. The core message won't be changed. There is nothing wrong with sending the same message again, and again. However, some users prefer this option to be super careful.

Commit to Growth
To truly get the most out of Growth Terminal, commit to a simple daily rhythm:
Post 1–3 times a day
Reply to 25–50 posts daily
Send 50 DMs a day
If you want to speed run growth, this is the formula.
Here’s how we make it easier:
Write a post in 5 minutes instead of 1 hour
Schedule a week of content in under an hour
Find replies in 10 minutes instead of 2 hours
Send 50 DMs with 2 minutes of setup
Some people won’t even spend 10 minutes, even when the leverage is this high. Commit to improving, posting, and creating — and you will grow.
There’s no magic shortcut to 100,000 followers. There’s just better tools and consistent effort.
We make it easier to produce high-quality posts, replies, and DMs — but it’s up to you to use them.
I hope you feel inspired. You can do this. If you need anything, please reach out.
